Probability Engine 1.0

Intellectual property disputes rarely turn on mechanical rules. They turn on judgment—on “likelihood,” “similarity,” “confusion,” “substantial overlap,” and intent—applied to evolving facts in specific markets and jurisdictions.

Experienced practitioners develop instincts about these outcomes. But instinct has limits. It is shaped by individual experience, changing doctrine, and imperfect recall.

Donblas is extending its probability engine to intellectual property management and infringement analysis to bring structured, evidence-anchored reasoning to these judgment-driven determinations.

Built on the same probability-tree infrastructure that supports our litigation tools, this engine is designed to:

  • Model how courts evaluate infringement risk

  • Analyze fact patterns against governing legal standards

  • Provide early-stage probability assessments

  • Support both enforcement decisions and pre-launch risk evaluation

The objective is not to replace practitioner judgment—but to make its structure visible, auditable, and strategically actionable.
